Wauw! Wat een gezellig vakantiehuis! We hebben hier enorm genoten van de knusse inrichting! Alles was tip top in orde en erg proper. We bezochten het In Flanders Fields Museum, Tyne Cot, de Duitse begraafplaats in Langemark en woonden 2x de Last Post bij. Wat een aangrijpende momenten. I messaged Jerry late one evening about a reservation for the next day. he responded promptly and was very helpful in organising our stay even though I know it wasn’t convenient for him to do so. His house is like a work of art inside with great interior decor and attention to detail. There are great facilities, quiet bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds and a super sofa bed in the living room. I think Jerry has thought of everything to make his guests feel at home. It is in a good location in Ypres, on a quiet street just inside the ramparts. Perfect for walking into town or exploring the area. Jerry was a great host. I wish we could have stayed a few more nights and would like to return in the future.

Wonderful stay at Jerry’s beautiful house in Ypres. The accommodation is superb, furnishings are of the highest quality, and it is spotlessly clean. Very quiet even tho it is within very easy walking distance of the centre. Even tho our arrival time kept on changing, Jerry was very accommodating. Similarly on our day of departure, he let us leave our luggage til after the 11am departure deadline. He could not have been more helpful.

Jerry is a very welcoming host who gave us nice tips for our stay in Ieper. The house has a very nice atmosphere with a lot of attention to detail, this makes you feel very much at home. It is also spotless and very luxurious with excellent beds, a great shower and bath an a comfortable garden. Jerry also provides an extensive amount of maps and tourist information. Lovely walk right from his doorstep over the old city fortification to the city centre. The only negative point was that we stayed just one night!

It was great to come back to Ypres and have more time to enjoy the town. Biking on Kemmelberg, eating mazarinecake, having shrimp croquettes were new to us. All of the WWI sites are interesting, the museum at Passchendaele is excellent. Lots to do and see.

The house was way more spacious then it appeared on the website. Each room being nice and big. Everything is very good quality and we all commented on how the beds and sofa were really comfortable. Very friendly and helpful host who is always on hand if you need anything. The house was easy to find and parking is available on the street outside of the house. Ypres market square is only 10 minutes walking.
